Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 01, 2026
At GM Ayurveda, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your data.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, place an order, or contact us — such as your name, phone number, email, and delivery address.
How We Use It
Your information is used to process orders, deliver products, provide customer support, and send important updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Security
We use appropriate measures to protect your information. Payments are processed through secure, trusted gateways.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to improve your browsing experience and remember your preferences.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To close your account and remove your personal information, follow the steps in Delete Your Account below.
Delete Your Account
You can ask us to delete your GM Ayurveda account and the personal information held with it. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason.
How to request deletion
Email support@gattumalayurveda.com with the subject line Delete My Account, and include:
- the mobile number you sign in with;
- your full name as it appears on the account;
- the sentence “I request deletion of my account and personal data”.
Please send it from the email address registered on your account. If you no longer have access to that address, write from any address and we will confirm it is you by sending a one-time code to the mobile number on the account.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your request within 2 working days.
- We confirm that the request comes from the account holder.
- The account is deleted within 30 days of that confirmation.
- We email you once the deletion is complete.
What we delete
- your account and sign-in details — name, email address, mobile number and password;
- your saved delivery addresses;
- your cart, wishlist and saved items;
- your notifications and notification settings;
- any one-time sign-in codes held against your mobile number;
- your newsletter subscription, and messages you have sent us through the contact form.
This information cannot be recovered once deleted, and you will be signed out on every device.
What we have to keep, and why
Some records cannot be deleted on request, because Indian law requires a seller to retain them:
- Invoices and order records. GST and income-tax law require us to keep invoice and transaction records for a statutory period. These are held for accounting and tax purposes only. They are not used to contact you and never for marketing.
- An open dispute, return or refund. Records connected to a request still in progress are kept until it is settled.
We keep no more than the law requires, and these records are deleted once that period ends.
Removing the app is not the same as deleting your account
Uninstalling the GM Ayurveda app from your phone does not delete your account or your data. To delete the account, send the email described above.
Changing your mind
You can cancel a deletion request by replying to our acknowledgement email at any time before the deletion is carried out. Once the account has been deleted it cannot be restored, and you would need to create a new account to order again.
